The first Red Hill Post Office was near Redhill Common, somewhere on Whitepost Hill and Mill Street. That was the old coach route. When the railway station arrived in Warwick Town and the branch line to Kent was added, the town started to grow very quickly. It didn't have a post office, so they closed the Red Hill one and opened a new one in London Road in Warwick Town. 25/11/1891. They used the stamps from the Red Hill one, so Warwick Town became known as Red Hill. They replaced the original Post Office with this one, half way along the left side of the picture, now Prezzo, in 1932. Opened 13th June. When they redeveloped Redhill and built the Belfrey in the early 1990's, the Post Office moved in.
